Vista IT Group launched a new technology distribution company, V3 Distribution, and implemented Vista Private Equity (VPE) as a holding company.

V3 Distribution will focus on supporting companies including distributors, value-added resellers, leasing and finance organizations, and third-party maintenance companies in their technology and supply chain needs and will provide services and product offerings tailored to these groups.

VPE supports Vista IT and V3 Distribution with their go-to-market strategies as they grow and diversify operations. Additionally, all VPE-related companies can leverage the combined organization’s warehouse, technical and operations resources through their established shared services model.

“We’ve experienced tremendous growth across all our business units over the last several years,” said Jeff Stevens, Vista Private Equity CEO. “The timing was right to create separate brands so they can focus on their individual markets and continue unabated on their growth trajectories.”

V3 Distribution also plans to take up asset recovery and consignment services for customers with high volumes of equipment and who want to maximize their recovery rates through remarketing services provided by V3.

“This announcement has been months in the making, while we patiently waited for V3’s new Processing Center and Vista’s co-location hosting facility to come online,” Stevens said. “V3 Distribution isn’t a new concept. In fact, it is the most mature part of our business. The unique relationships we have, including Cisco Excess, Dell Recertified and HPE Replacement Parts, have become more strategic to our customers as supply chain disruptions and semi-conductor shortages continue to impact the technology industry.”

The VPE family of companies now includes Vista IT Group, V3 Distribution and Vista Financial Services.
