An off-price retailer is relocating one of its stores to a major retail corridor in town.
T.J. Maxx will be relocating on Sept. 19 to The Village at Knapp’s Crossing, on the corner of East Beltline Avenue and Knapp Street NE in Grand Rapids.
The store is relocating from 3352 Alpine Ave. NW, Walker, and will move into an approximately 22,500-square-foot retail footprint at The Village.
T.J. Maxx specializes in off-price shopping for fashion and accessories, jewelry, home, beauty, pet products, toys and more.
“Our newest store in Grand Rapids will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices T.J. Maxx is known for,” said Tim Miner, president of T.J. Maxx. “With a constant flow of new arrivals, we offer an exciting one-stop shop that makes it easy for consumers to find what they want, take it home that day and save money at the same time.”
The grand re-opening celebration will take place from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. and feature reusable bags for the first 500 customers. T.J. Maxx also will contribute to the surrounding community by presenting a $10,000 donation to Kids’ Food Basket at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:30 a.m.
Regular hours will be 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sundays.
