A company that designs traffic plans for lane closures due to road repairs, large events and big infrastructure projects is opening an office in West Michigan.
Signal Hill, California-based Traffic Management, Inc., or TMI, said this month it will open a new office on Jan. 3 in Plainfield Township, at 844 W. River Center Dr. NE.
The office will serve the greater Grand Rapids region.
The location will provide expertise in roadway traffic control, engineering and traffic safety products.
"The addition of a TMI location in western Michigan complements our already well-established eastern Michigan office in Detroit,” said Jonathan Spano, co-founder and CEO, TMI.
“The geographical relation of these offices will allow TMI to better serve clients and communities in the entire Great Lakes region."
TMI was founded by brothers Chris and Jonathan Spano in 1995.
