Airport appoints CFO

Gerald R. Ford International Airport appointed a new CFO.

Maria Kim is joining the airport’s financial leadership team. She has a background in aeronautical revenue and brings over 10 years of experience in data analysis and strategic planning, as well as financial forecasting and modeling. 

Kim is coming to Ford Airport from Fraport USA, previously known as Airmall USA, where she served as director of financial analysis and reporting. Prior to her employment there, Kim entered the aeronautical industry at Allegheny County Airport Authority as manager of revenue development. Her career began with The Kraft Heinz Co., where she held a number of positions in the branding, marketing and finance departments.

Ford International Airport Authority. “She has an impressive history collaborating across teams to maximize revenue and return on investment. We are thrilled to welcome Maria to the authority’s senior leadership team.”  

Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame, as well as  a master’s degree in extension studies in business management from Harvard University. She also has certificates in international business and corporate sustainability and innovation.
