A university is hosting an event to preview the health care industry in 2020.
Grand Valley State University is hosting the annual 2020 Health Check, which shares health-related trends and issues facing Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon and Allegan counties.
The presentation will be followed by a panel of health care leaders: Dr. Darryl Elmouchi, president of Spectrum Health Medical Group and CMO of Spectrum Health; Robert Gordon, director, Michigan DHHS; Dr. Ron Grifka, CMO, Metro Health-University of Michigan Health; Dr. Hyung Kim, M.D., president, Mercy Health Saint Mary’s; Kent Riddle, CEO, Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
The event is set for 8 a.m. Jan. 10 at the GVSU Eberhard Center, 301 West Fulton St. in Grand Rapids. There will be a light breakfast at 7:30 a.m.
Registration is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in GVSU’s Fulton Street lot. Overflow parking will be directed to GVSU’s Seward parking ramp.
The event also will be livestreamed. A link will be posted online prior to the event.
