West Michigan schools rank among Forbes’ ‘top colleges’

Five colleges in West Michigan were named among the 650 “best” in the country.

Forbes released its America’s Top Colleges 2019 list last week.

The annual review rates undergraduate institutions based on academics, experiences, career success and lowest debt.

“We include just 15% of the 4,300 degree-granting postsecondary institutions in the U.S., so appearing here at all is an indication that a school meets a high standard,” Forbes editors said.
