A long-time business in town is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of its wine and hard-cider operations.
Robinette’s Apple Haus & Winery in Grand Rapids, at 3142 Four Mile Rd. NW, will host the party for Robinette Cellars on Saturday at its winery tasting room, from 1-5 p.m.
Free wine tasting will be offered, and no reservations are required.
The event will feature the launch of Robinette’s newest hard-cider product, Hopped Cider.
Robinette Cellars makes five hard ciders and 16 varieties of wine.
Bill and John Robinette opened Robinette Cellars to feature hard cider and wines, as a supplement to Robinette’s long-standing apple business.
The first product was Barzilla’s Brew, named for Barzilla Robinette, the founder of the local orchard in 1912.
