A family owned winery is launching its first wine in a can.
Fennville-based Fenn Valley Vineyards is rolling out Vino Blanco, its canned dry white wine.
Vino Blanco comes in a 375-ml can, which is equal to about two-and-a-half glasses.
It is now available at the vineyard and will initially be distributed at select retailers in Michigan and Illinois in individual cans and four-packs.
The release is the culmination of a two-year project, according to the vineyard’s Facebook page.
Fenn Valley teased Facebook followers with photos of its new canning equipment in March, and the company followed up with a full announcement of canned-wine production in mid-May.
Fenn Valley Vineyards was established in 1973 and sits on a 240-acre farm.
