A new women’s fashion store is opening at a local mall.
Woodland Mall in Kentwood, at 3195 28th St. SE, is gearing up to welcome Altar’d State on Oct. 6.
The store will occupy a 5,500-square-foot space in the mall's JCPenney wing.
Altar’d State carries apparel, jewelry, gifts and accessories.
The store will feature spacious dressing rooms designed to create a “serene environment.”
It will be the retailer’s first West Michigan location.
Altar’d State already operates Michigan locations in Troy and Ann Arbor.
The Woodland Mall store will host a grand-opening celebration on Oct. 6, beginning at 9:50 a.m., with coffee and donuts.
“We are delighted to welcome Altar’d State to Woodland Mall as part of our efforts to diversify the retail mix and create a premium shopping experience,” said Cecily McCabe, marketing director, Woodland Mall.
“Our tenants recognize that today’s retail experience must go beyond shopping. Altar’d State is a great example of a company that has created a unique and inspirational shopping experience.”
Altar’d State started as a Christian store and coffee shop in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2009 and has grown to nearly 100 locations across the nation.
