Joe Dyer became president of Disher, an engineering, manufacturing tech and talent recruiting firm based in Zeeland.
Dyer’s passion for developing people and his ability to inspire exceptional outcomes made him the clear choice to navigate Disher into the future. Founder and former President Jeff Disher will remain as chairman of the board and will continue to play a strategic role.
“We are thrilled to welcome Joe Dyer as our new president,” Jeff Disher said. “His compelling leadership approach and desire to make a positive difference in our world will create significant ripples of influence — not only within our team but with our customers and communities as well. The way Joe embodies our mission-profit-growth business philosophy brings us all tremendous excitement and confidence.”
Dyer graduated first in his class with a B.S. in aeronautical engineering from Western Michigan University in 2008. Upon graduation, he accepted a manufacturing engineer role with Parker Hannifin. In 2013, he joined Disher as a manufacturing and quality engineer serving in project management, process development, automation, design, manufacturing and quality. He led business initiatives and teams and became a team lead for manufacturing tech solutions. In 2019, Dyer transitioned to the role of executive pastor at Corinth Reformed Church before returning to Disher. Joe’s administrative and engineering skills, character and humble, servant-leadership style uniquely equip him to move Disher forward.
