Ada Park Charette Set

ADA — Ada Township will host a community charette/open house on Tuesday, Sept. 9, for public input and ideas for the new Roselle Park, the previous site of Ada Beef Co.

The public is invited to participate in the event, which takes place from 1-8 p.m. at the Les Craig Learning Center in Ada Park, 1180 Buttrick Ave.

The community design charette is an interactive event used to identify Ada Township residents’ desires for recreational uses at the 240-acre park located at 1010 Grand River Drive. Park designers from the consulting firm of O’Boyle, Cowell, Blalock & Associates, Ada Township Board members and Park Steering Committee members will be available throughout the event to explore the ideas and objectives for the project with township residents.

Members of the public are invited to visit the park during the charette and a shuttle will take visitors to the site for a scenic drive through the property at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9.

Contact the Ada Township offices with any questions or comments, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 676-9191 ext. 0, or go online at
