Steelcase won a Buildings Innovation Award in the Citation of Excellence in the Workplace Productivity category for its portfolio of products in the Pathways office system.
The award, presented by Buildings magazine, cited Pathways products — overhead bins and shelves, moveable walls and freestanding privacy screens — for offering high flexibility and the ability to customize office layout.
Steelcase subsidiaries also won four Best of NeoCon awards:
- Gold Award for Brayton International’s Sieste line of health care furniture
- Gold Award for JM Lynne/Design Tex Group’s Zooni wall treatments
- Silver Award for Blumenthal Alternative Wallcovering’s Tesserae wall treatments
- Silver Award for Vecta’s E-table in the Electrified Tables category.
Comstock Park-based Nucraft received NeoCon’s Best of Competition Award and a Gold Award for its new Origin office system, as well as a Gold Award in the Occasional Tables category for its new Centric Collection.
Grand Rapids-based Izzydesign received a Silver Award for its Jack conference table in the Conference & Training Tables category.
