Credit Union Plans Two Branches

BATTLE CREEK — Kellogg Community Federal Credit Union is opening two new locations in the greater Battle Creek area.

Construction is underway on a new Dickman Road Branch location for KCFCU. The new facility will be located next to Whitt’s Party Store at 2925 West Dickman Road, in Springfield. The new 1,870-square-foot Dickman Road branch will feature a full-service lobby offering new account and loan services, four drive-up lanes and a drive-up ATM. George Covalle Architect and Associates Inc. designed the building and Schweitzer Construction is the general contractor.

The KCFCU officially kicked off May 17, with a ground-breaking ceremony that included Pat Rolfe, chairman of the board; Tracy Miller, CEO; James Demarest, board director and Facilities Committee chairman; members of the board; and KCFCU staff, management and past employees.

Renovation is underway on a new Capital Avenue location for KCFCU. The new facility will be located next to the Shell Station at 1425 Capital Ave. NE, in Pennfield. The facility will feature a full-service lobby offering new account and loan services, three drive-up lanes and a walk-up ATM.

KCFCU is a full-service financial institution, serving people who live, work, worship or attend school in greater Calhoun County. In addition to its two new locations, as well as its mobile branch and ATM, KCFCU has two current locations in Battle Creek: 41 Second St. next to the Kellogg Plant and 6427 B Drive North in front of the Meijer store.
