GRAND RAPIDS — The 15th annual West Michigan Golf Show tees off on Friday, Feb. 21, and runs through Sunday.
The show is expected to fill three halls in the Grand Center at 245 Monroe Ave. NW with more than 100 booths of merchandise, equipment and resorts.
The headline speaker is Wally Armstrong, who has competed in more than 300 PGA events and shot a 64 in his first Masters to set the rookie low-round mark. Junior golf advocate Rolla Frisinger and 1995 PGA Teacher of the Year Kay McMahon will also appear at the show.
The Par 3 Challenge, sponsored by Harvey Lexus and Harvey Cadillac, returns. The contest offers a lease on a new Escalade or SC430 for the first hole-in-one each day of the show. Proceeds from the challenge benefit West Michigan Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Show hours are 4-9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-14. Kids five and under are admitted free. Showspan Inc. is producing the event.
