GRAND RAPIDS — Interphase Office Interiors Inc., West Michigan’s exclusive Haworth dealer, has won the contract for the installation of all workstations, seating and student tables for the new West Ottawa High School building.
The school has registered the building with the U.S. Green Building Council for its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, and Interphase was well suited to help meet those needs.
Its line of Haworth products are designed with sustainability in mind, and Interphase owner Randy DeBoer is the only LEED accredited
LEED is the standard for North American green buildings, a design model that protects the environment, promotes good health of occupants and costs less to operate.

“The school we’re creating will provide a better environment for teachers to teach and for students to learn,” said West Ottawa Assistant Superintendent Dave Zimmer. “That’s what’s making this process very exciting.”
