Wolverine announced recently it had been awarded the construction contract by Robert Grooters Development Co.
According to Wolverine, the facility is to be constructed in the new Byron Commerce Industrial Park on Byron Commerce Drive, west off U.S. 131. Groundbreaking occurred Nov. 26.
The construction firm — which has been noted locally for innovatively phased construction of new building shells around existing structures so as not to interrupt production — says it has carefully planned the project for a quick construction timetable no matter how harsh the weather may be this winter.
