Nonstop Service To Houston Begins

CASCADE — Continental Airlines on Wednesday began offering twice-daily jet service from Grand Rapids to Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Continental Express now departs weekdays at 6:45 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. from the Gerald R. Ford International Airport to Bush Intercontinental, which is Continental Airlines’ largest hub.

Continental flies to dozens of destinations in the United States, Latin America and Asia out of Bush Intercontinental.

Continental is operating a 50-seat Embraer regional jet on the Grand Rapids-to-Houston route.
