With the expanded license agreement, TLC is adding Provia’s integrated ViaWare WMS and YMS (warehouse and yard management) products and standardizing Provia’s software solutions across all facilities.
TLC will be using Provia’s ViaWare to manage logistics operations in over 33.3 million cubic feet of temperature controlled storage and 1.5 million square feet of dry storage space.
Richard Brouwer, TLC’s vice president of information services, said the company made the decision to standardize Provia’s system across all of the company’s facilities because of Provia’s history of delivering solid software products and commitment to partnership.
“Provia offers TLC the advanced level of robust software solutions that fit our varied customers’ needs for complex fulfillment services,” said Brouwer.
“Adding Provia’s integrated ViaWare WMS and YMS and standardizing on Provia products across all our facilities gives TLC a strategic advantage over other 3PLs who rely on multiple systems for their supply chain management needs. Provia’s technology has served TLC well for many years and we look forward to this expanded level of partnership. As our business continues to grow, we will look to take our relationship with Provia even further, expanding the Provia integrated suite to other TLC locations.”
According to Provia President and CEO Ken Lewis, the new agreement with TLC will further demonstrate Provia’s strength in the 3PL market.
“An increasing number of our 3PL clients are seeing great value in standardizing on Provia as their logistics software offering,” said Lewis. “Expanding relationships with existing clients validates not only Provia’s robust product suite, but also our dedication to client satisfaction. We will continue to evolve our product offering to serve the changing needs of the 3PL industry.”
