SBAM Offers Discounted Training

GRAND RAPIDS — The Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) is offering discounted computer software training for its members.

“Small business financial success increasingly depends on mastering software tools, especially in accounting and money management,” said Kristy Millbauer, SBAM’s director of marketing. “We believe that offering our members a substantial discount on software training will encourage them to take advantage of new technological innovations in small business management.”

The service will be available through TeachUcomp Inc., of Holt.

From half-day sessions to overnight travel packages, SBAM members receive a 10 percent to 28.5 percent discount for more than 85 different classes. Interested SBAM members should send an e-mail to slh@sbam.org or call (800) 362-5461.

TeachUcomp opened in 2001 and offers classes on such topics as QuickBooks and Peachtree accounting software, Microsoft Office and Web design.
