The survey results appear in a special supplement to this week’s edition of the Journal, providing readers with a greater appreciation of the diversity of the West Michigan business community, and an opportunity to identify goods and services that may not previously have been part of the usual business network.
The 51 business profiles published in the supplement aren’t all the area’s minority-owned firms, but merely the oldest. And of them, Brown’s Funeral Home holds the distinction of being the eldest identified in survey results.
The supplement is the Journal’s salute to the surveyed business owners for their acumen and longevity, and for the unique products and services they provide while choosing to call this area home.
