Be aware of reform impacts
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 may mean changes to your plan’s dependent coverage, lifetime limits, pre-existing conditions, patient protections and emergency services.
Consider your costs
What’s more cost effective: grandfathered or non-grandfathered status?
What additional benefits will your plan have to include?
How many additional dependents and individuals will your plan have to cover?
Which limits of coverage will you have to eliminate?
If medical insurance is insured, review the impact of new nondiscrimination requirements.
Get your team ready
